NBA Finals: Mavericks-Celtics set for Game 4 showdown
Boston has chance to sweep Dallas
Mavs stave off elimination in Game 3
The Boston Celtics have the chance to sweep the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals on Friday. Game 4 is slated to tip off at 8:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday, June 12, at the TD Garden in Boston. The Celtics took a 3-0 lead in the series with a 117-101 win in Game 3 on Tuesday night. Jayson Tatum led the way for Boston with 29 points, while Jaylen Brown added 27 points. The Mavericks kept their season alive with a 126-121 win in Game 3. Luka Doncic had a triple-double with 31 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists for Dallas. The Celtics are now one win away from their 18th NBA championship. The Mavericks need to win the next two games to force a Game 7. The Celtics have been the better team throughout the series. They have been more consistent offensively and have defended better than the Mavericks. The Mavericks have shown some fight, but they have not been able to match the Celtics' intensity. If the Mavericks want to win Game 4, they will need to play their best game of the series.
