Germany Continue Winning Start to Euro 2024

Musiala Scores Again as Germany Beat Hungary

Jamal Musiala was on the scoresheet again as Germany continued their winning start to Euro 2024 with a 2-0 victory over Hungary on Tuesday. The win means that Germany are the first team to qualify for the knockout stages of the competition.

Germany have now won both of their Group F matches, having also beaten Scotland 5-1 in their opening game. Hungary, meanwhile, have lost both of their matches and are now bottom of the group.

Musiala opened the scoring for Germany in the 23rd minute with a fine individual effort. The Bayern Munich midfielder picked up the ball on the left wing and drove into the Hungary penalty area. He then cut inside and fired a low shot into the bottom corner of the net.

Kai Havertz doubled Germany's lead in the 68th minute with a header from a cross by Raum. The Chelsea forward was left unmarked at the back post and had a simple task to nod the ball into the net.

Germany will now face Portugal in their final Group F match on Saturday. Hungary, meanwhile, will play against France in their final match.
