Highway 1 Closed in Langley After Fatal Motorcycle Accident

A fatal motorcycle accident has closed Highway 1 in Langley. The accident occurred at around 7:00 AM PDT on Tuesday, November 15, 2022.According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the motorcycle was traveling southbound on Highway 1 when it collided with a pickup truck that was making a left turn into a driveway.
The motorcyclist, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
Highway 1 is closed in both directions between SR-92 and Vista Del Mar Road. The CHP is advising motorists to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
