Original Pokémon Artwork
For over 20 years, Pokémon fans have circulated poor-quality scans of the original watercolor artwork for the first Pokémon games, Pokémon Red and Blue (or Green in Japan). Now, thanks to a new book from PIE International, fans can finally see the original art in high-quality reproductions.
The book, The Complete Pokémon Works, features over 1,000 pieces of art from the original Pokémon games, including character designs, environment art, and promotional art. The book also includes an interview with Ken Sugimori, the artist who created the original Pokémon designs.
The Complete Pokémon Works is available now from PIE International.
