Beetlejuice Sequel Cast Revealed: Jenna Ortega, Monica Bellucci, Winona Ryder, and Michael Keaton
Follow-up to the 1988 Comedy Classic
Over three decades after the release of the beloved comedy "Beetlejuice," a sequel is finally in the works. The cast of the upcoming film has begun to emerge, with several notable actors attached to the project.
Returning Cast
Michael Keaton will reprise his iconic role as Betelgeuse, the mischievous and eccentric ghost. Winona Ryder will also return as Lydia Deetz, the quirky teenager who befriends Betelgeuse.
New Additions
The sequel will also feature a number of new characters, including:
- Jenna Ortega as Lydia's younger sister, a goth girl with a rebellious streak
- Monica Bellucci as a mysterious and seductive ghost
Johnny Depp's Involvement
One notable omission from the cast announcement is Johnny Depp, who played the character of Edward Scissorhands in the original film. There has been speculation online about whether Depp will appear in the sequel, but no official confirmation has been made.
